We invest in sustainable freshwater aquaculture that provide food and livelihoods without harming aquatic ecosystems, developing fishery management plans for our freshwater species, to ensure sustainable harvest levels and protect biodiversity.

By promoting the sustainable use and management of ocean, coastal and fresh water resources, the Institute aims to create jobs, enhance livelihoods, and contribute to economic growth, thereby reducing poverty in coastal communities.
